I don't have a 7412, I have a 7308 and don't know if they are the same.
With the 7308, the manual tells you to (on flat, level ground) lower the bucket to the ground. Turn off engine and set brake. Remove the bungie cord that holds down the hoses on the side. Remove the pins and release the latches from the loader frame upright (these hold the loader on to the large round pins coming out of the frame upright).
Start tractor, release brakes, and lift bucket. Instead of lifting, the arms rise from the pins. Slowly raise, while slowly backing up tractor. When lift cylinders are fully extended, parking stand (which used to be in front of the radiator making it difficult to raise the hood) is now on the ground. Shut off engine, release hydraulic pressure by moving control levers, and disconnect hydraulic quick couplers.
I don't know if this works for you loader, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.
