Very excited to be here as a new member. While I have been following TBN and learning so much from the community I never felt compelled to post until now. After many years of research, countless trips to the local dealers and test driving John Deere, Kubota, LS, New Holland, Massey Ferguson, Case, Branson, and Mahindra tractors I finally pulled the trigger and bought a 2018 LS 4155HC! While each brand I drove had its pros and cons I settled on one that met my needs, had a long standing and reputable dealer (who also provides service) and seemed to me to be the best bang for the buck. While I only have 8 hours on it so far I could not be happier with my decision.
My family and I moved to Selmer, TN after spending my entire life in the city and having never operated anything larger than a 5 hp push lawnmower. My father in law has been amazing and has taught me a lot but I still have a long way to go. We have a 83 acre farm, 26 acres of pasture and the rest woods and ponds. We are presently raising a few head of black angus, donkeys, several barn cats and the best dog I have ever owned, an Australian Shepherd, oh and soon to have a dozen chickens.
Looking forward to being a contributing member now and I am sure I have lots to learn! Yahoo!!!! I finally am living my dream
