Mowing first mowing with bx2200

Last weekend i finally had to mow. After spreading 18yrds of topsoil I had to pull the FEL and ballast box off. It took 15 mins to remove both and get ready for mowing. That includes the time to push one of my house deck verticle supports back on it's mooring! Yep I was so foucused on backing into a level spot near the house to remove the ballast box that I lost sight of the FEL and knocked the corner deck support right off it's mooring. Couldn't budge it by hand so I used the BX to push it back in place. No harm done except ot my ego.
Anyway, I'm very pleased with the quality of cut and ease of use of the BX 2200 60MMM. It,s very manuverable, the power steering ia great. I did mow in four wheel drive because of my hillside location and that worked out great. Other than almost knocking my deck down removing the FEL etc. It was a piece of cake and makes the the BX a great mowing machine!

Next up, "trimming" branches with ROPS, and "hmmm, how long have I been running with the parking brake on"?

Or, how about, taking out the wife's clothesline post with the ROPS?P.S. but she didn't see it and I quick fixed it before I confessed.

My boy watched the whole thing... of course he had to tell mom. The whole family watched the reinstallation. LOL. I was wondering why she was so slugish. Better to leave the brake on than off. When I only had the machine for 2 days I parked it and jumped off to pick up a shovel only to turn around to admire my new tractor rolling across the driveway for a very steep hill. "Dad you sure can run fast." Yes that incident was also reported.

Had to laugh at this one - I seem to run quite a bit with the brake on! The little BX performs great though, with or without the break on!
