Moved some more logs this morning, then disconnected Clementine's rear hydraulics and traded her blade for the Land Pride FDR2572 mower. Was a little apprehensive about mounting the 3pt mower since it wasn't exactly on level ground, but the lift arms on the L3010 are a LOT more user friendly than the old B1750 ever was. Took all of 3 minutes to get set up...then another 30 to review the owner's manual to make sure I got it right. I was deeply suspicious of the easy install, but everything was just fine.
Took Clementine out into the field and started mowing. Finished all 7 acres before calling it quits for the day. This girl is so much higher than the B1750 that I was a little nervous traversing the slopes, but she was rock steady and as time goes on it'll start to feel right.
What a joy the Grande L series tractors are!
