Depends what you are planning to do but really it should be at least a couple of inches wider than your widest wheel width. If you are digging out a pad or levelling a mound your wheels should be within the path dug by the bucket, not riding up on the edge of the dugout. You'll find it very hard to level a pad wider than the bucket. Putting one wheel up on the high side is not safe and anyway will result in a ploughed rather than a smooth pad. I'm not trying to be negative, just answering your question. To get full use out of your loader I'd seriously be looking for a wider bucket or possibly widening this one. I've seen threads on 'bucket widening.'

I think you can get that close enough here's a shot of the Allied loader with the bucket setting flat on the Yanmar and mine in both cases with the tractors on level ground there is probably only a couple inches of curl cylinder travel to tilt the buckets up.

In most cases if you are pushing materials forward as the bucket gets full you raise it a little and then tilt it back . As you lift the bucket the angle will increase on its own due to the arc of fel ( keeping the material in the bucket)..

if the curl isn't satisfactory you could either get a slightly shorter set of rams, or move the pin point on the upper location by modifying the bracket and positioning the pin slightly higher...

overall I think you can make it work

- without having the hydraulics live it's hard to remember but if i'm not mistaken (i'm pretty new to this) the distance not only the rams have left to travel, but also the distance from the ram to the frame.. anyways will have to hook hydraulics up on monday.:thumbsup:

Looking for some ideas here..

The front wheels are 28" diameter roughly. So very tall off the ground this tractor sits that i'm not sure what loaders will fit..

I was also looking at a Great Bend 330 but it is coming off of a Case 56hp that has a front wheel diameter of 17" roughly.

I heard GB 330 is too big for this thing...
But now I'm to believe it's too heavy but too small?!?

what are your thoughts guys?
