is that bucket too small though?
Depends what you are planning to do but really it should be at least a couple of inches wider than your widest wheel width. If you are digging out a pad or levelling a mound your wheels should be within the path dug by the bucket, not riding up on the edge of the dugout. You'll find it very hard to level a pad wider than the bucket. Putting one wheel up on the high side is not safe and anyway will result in a ploughed rather than a smooth pad. I'm not trying to be negative, just answering your question. To get full use out of your loader I'd seriously be looking for a wider bucket or possibly widening this one. I've seen threads on 'bucket widening.'
