I have an old Kiddie home fire extinguisher in my dozer that I've never used, but thought it was a good idea to have one when working around the burn pile.
Last weekend, I lit my burn pile and kept an eye on it in my new cabbed tractor. I thought I saw some ash float down on top of my fuel tank, which caused me to think how dangerous that could be. I never found the piece of ash, but it got me to thinking that if my tractor caught on fire, what would I do?
Any fire extinguisher is better then nothing. But I'm wondering if there is something specific that I should look for to put out a fire on a tractor full of hydraulic oil?
I'm also curious where to mount it?
Thank you
