I bought this (about) 1940's Oliver spreader for $25, used it a couple times until it trashed a tire, then it sat in the weeds for 8 years. This spring, I decided to drag it up to the shop and fix it up enough to use in my garden.

Hi Eddie. It cost me $30 for paint, $60 apiece for new tires and tubes. I had to do some welding to get it mechanically up to snuff and some woodwork, but that was with materials on hand. About $100 to restore I guess---and lots of hours. It was in bad shape.

BEAUTIFUL salvage and restore job. Excellent budget on it too!
