I finished up my wheels and tried them out today on the gravel drive next door. I am happy with the way they work with the hydraulic top link. The diagonal braces in the pic were intended to be individual cyinders, but I am thinking I may not need that extra bit of control. We'll see. The rake was modified years ago because I was not happy with the the flexing of what used to be the angle iron. My dad welded the 4 inch tube on...he was a great welder. If he were alive to see this I would probably take some heat on the welds...but they all held on the maiden voyage.

Pretty nice job of modifing that KK landscape rake. All you need now is a parking jack to hold it up when your not using it.

Thanks. What are folks using for the parking stand...same as used on trailer tongues?

Here's what I did for my backblade. Something similar should work. Nice job on the gauge wheels, I want to do the same for my backblade, so your timing is good for me.

You might be able to incorporate this stand.

Nice Job Bill, I could see another U bracket between the current one and the caster if you wanted to fold up the wheels for storage, trailering, or when not needed.

Thanks. You guys have given me a couple more mini-projects...parking stand and storage/transport bracket. Good ideas and thanks for the tips.

Please tell me more about the chain. Does that float the rake better for a smoother finish?
