My new Woods TK60 finish mower is leaving windrows in its wake. Any suggestions?

The only things I know to do are:
1. Try to cut before the grass gets too tall.
2. Go over the areas of clumping/windrows a second time to help spread out the clippings.
3. Double cut, i.e., only take 1/2 swath on each row.
4. Mow when grass is completely dry, especially if it is tall.

We have an older LandPride FDR1660 and if the grass is 10" or taller, and slightly wet, it will leave windrows. If we take it slower, and cut 2/3 width it does fine. When the grass is dry, no matter what it is a cutting sob and the lawn/fields look great. The mower is 15-20 years old. Still on the original spindles, solid rubber tires instead of the may go flat tubeless.

Cut often and half the width until clean cut.

you'll notice the difference on the deck height between finish & regular brush hogs. brush hogs have a deeper deck height, while finish are rather shallow... that difference is your limitation.
in addition, finish mowers are generally of lighter duty construction.
& keep knives sharp as well, regards
