I have a new 6' Buhler farm king finish mower that pulls behind my NH TC33DA. It cuts great except it leaves about a 1-2 inch strip uncut between the middle and right side blade at intervals. The first couple of times I used it, it didn't do it, now it dose. I have tried shapening the blades and different speeds, but no changes. Any ideas or recommendations?

Thanks,

Tim

Hi Tim,

Have you looked underneath the deck? There is probably a lot of grass and dirt buildup. Chip most of it out and try again.

i have found that if you have a lot of grass build up, that can happen, especially if you are cutting wet grass.

Ditto to what the previous poster mentioned, the grass can build up rather fast at times, especially when you are forced to cut in wet conditions.

Thanks guys, I checked, it's very clean under the mower, no grass or dirt build up. Any other ideas?

Had a similar case a few months back. Found out when I removed the belt cover that the spring on the idler pulley had broken. So whenever the mower got into heavy grass the belt would slip and the grass would look like the devil. Check under the belt cover for any inconsistencies.
