Finish Mower Maintenance

I was wondering what should be done as far as maintenance to my RFM. Are you suppose to change the gear box oil? How often? What else should you look for in maintenance?

I've heard of people doing that, but never knew anyone personally who did it. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Bush Hog manual doesn't mention changing it; only to check it every 40 hours and add gear oil if necessary to bring it up to the proper level.
