Knight9; I did not notice the large "Rear Dischage" that is right in the center of the picture DOH! Thanks for pointing that out. If it is rear discharge I was Hoping that Learning could post a couple of pictures of the bottom so that I can see how it is made. Learing to Farm; If you want to change the cutting height refer to page 14 in the manual that JD5210 posted a link to. It is easy. All you have to do is move some spacers from the top to the bottom to raise the deck. I like the hard wheels on my mower because they never go flat. Usually tires small enough to fit the mower are not very tough and go flat a lot.

AndyG, although we "cleaned" and made sure the vent screw was working this (see picture) happened today after 4.5 hours of continuous mowing. Removing the screw again, it was only "mostly cleaned". There was no gear oil underneath so the guys don't think it is completely blown, just leaked. Also the link to the BEFCO site has a great under shot of the mower. I can take a photo, I just forgot.

Sorry to hear about the leak. Keep an eye on the oil though. That gear box will not last long without oil. The seal is not that hard to replace just a pain in the but to fix when the grass needs to be cut.
