Finally the slush pusher took its maiden voyage

We had our first snow/sleet/rain storm that left enough slush to give it a try...and it worked as expected - it's one mighty squeegee...

No issue back-dragging and no issue dumping the FEL - very limited wear on the rubber. So I am very pleased with the outcome.

I realize I do not have a massive driveway like some, but I basically "plowed" with this setup as opposed to scoop and dump which was extremely fast and painless.

That would not have worked here with this storm. I used the bucket to break through and scrape up 1"+ of ice.

Just curious, would it clean as good if someone would have driven over the wet snow and slush and made tire tracks??? By the way, you may want to patent the idea, it looks like it could catch on

yea I was out there today too, I was going to use the snowblower on the little tractor but said screw it and took the tooth bar of the big one and went at it, I do love that idea. I think I would need one taller and on am angle

Hey Curt, that seems to work great for your situation! Not sure I could use something like that with my 1000 feet of dirt drive (mud drive these days). Nice finished project and I am sure it will work for you for many years.

By the way, you have to get that bucket a bit dirty and scratched up!

Couple of responses:

My wife made several passes over the driveway with her full size SUV, it was not completely frozen, but iced-up - no issue scrapping it up...

It would be nice to have an angle on it or angled wings (rev 2)

Easy on, easy off with the clamps - allows for bucket scrapping when necessary...

It's well thought out, very clean assembly, with an ingenious "easy on - easy off" design.

Rubber came from "RubberCal"...

Rubber Snow Plow Blades and Cutting Edges

Not cheap, but not too bad...it held-up very well.
