Finally purchased

a Cub GT2544 yesterday. Didn't really get any deal on it unfortunately, oh well. It gets delivered on 11/4. No accessories purchased at this time, but have my eye on a few. |

Welcome aboard! Don't sweat the 'deal' thing too bad. It was pay sticker or walk for me when I got my 2544. It's the most GT you are going to get for around $3K anyway. You can get the dealers to wiggle a bit if you lump in accessories at the time of purchase. If it's a hot selling GT and it has not been sitting on the floor for a year, you will pay MSRP.

I bought a 2550 yesterday at Whites in Atwater, Ohio. Best pricing I could find with the 2544 @ $2725 and the 2550 @ $3125. They have more of them if anyone is looking in the Ohio area. I wish Cubs were of better quality but the shaft drive makes the decision easy for me (beats blowing out belts all the time).

$574 and $474 off of sticker for a current model year? /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif Those are REALLY good, almost too good to be true prices.

They also had the 2554 for $3550. I called every dealer within 150 miles and they were by far the best price. Those prices are good until 10-28-05 according to the dealer.
