Finally Need My Warranty and LS Is Not There! BEWARE!

LS should mail the op a check to pay for the work that needs done. But they’re probably not going to and most other manufacturers probably wouldn’t either. When the op bought this tractor he new the risk of what could happen at least regarding the only dealer for 300 miles. He probably saved more than $250 to make it worth it.
Yes but 5 years and 135 hours is just a drop in the bucket in ... not even to the first oil change and it needs repair. This is just a clue of what is to become of these tractors with no usable dealer network

The lack of support is a big reason why these tractors are cheaper then the established brands.

If the whole brand tanks you might be pretty screwed but as long as that doesn’t happen you could easily order wheel bearings.

True enough. You could do the same for the filters and anything else you need given time to order, deliver, and possibly exchange any part you might need.

Very unfortunate that your nearest LS dealer is 300 miles away, quite a few LS dealers in my area. LS has been in business since 1962, started building tractors in 1977.
New Holland dealers are not allowed to become LS dealers.
I recommend getting your seal replaced and don’t tell LS about it so you can still have your warranty Incase something major $$$$$ fails while it’s still under warranty .
My LS currently has 235 trouble free hours.

Put things in perspective. The OP has a $300 repair. He likely saved over $2000 buying his LS instead of the NH. I saved over $4000 on my LS over a similar NH but I have a larger model. I saved $8000 over a Kubota or JD.

When I decided to buy an LS, I had two dealers within reasonable driving distance. I also had two NH dealers nearby. I was not worried about support. Even if both LS dealers go out of business, I can get most parts from the HN dealer.

It would be foolish for the OP to invest the additional money to buy a bit better dealer support to cover a minor repair like this. For a major repair, the distance is not a deal killer, and the chances of a major repair are slim. We can each decide how to piss our money away.

BTW, one dealer near me stopped carrying NH a year after I bought the LS. Both LS dealers are doing well. It can be a crap shoot sometimes.

So....one buys a no name brand, knowing theres poor dealer support and few dealers, then is upset when you need to drive 1200 miles for a warranty repair... Im not seeing for one second how this is an LS problem. Sounds far more like a typical cheap, entitled consumer.

Our 3 local Kubota dealerships were bought by an auto group (Bayside). John Deere dealers got sold to a motorcycle group (Atlantic). Kubota no longer offers field service. The most local JD is loaded up with side by sides and lawn mowers, not tractors. Tractors are on the other “centralized” location 30 miles away.

Well I'm taking my LS tractor to "my" New Holland Dealer tomorrow and I will pay the $250 to have this simple issue repaired. But shame on LS for turning their back on this simple problem!!
Why not fix the simple issue yourself if taking it to LS doesnt work for you? Did you ask about parts support since dealer support is diificult?
