Arrived today. Nice step up from the Honda Rubicon for plowing. Have to learn how to use that v-plow but looking forward to the heated cab.

It's pretty easy. Did you get the skid shoes? They are a nice setup, you adjust height by moving washers.

And just remember, until you get a base, it will dig less in the forward and reverse vee positions. It cuts the most straight forward.

And depending on how dealer set yours up, there is an adjustment in your Boss manual to alter the speed at which it drops. You can make it drop fast or slow. And you may have to adjust the trip spring. Mine was set very light and it was awful the first time I plowed because it was continuously flopping over forwards. Once I tightened it up, it will now push.

And the one other tip is pushing the up button twice on your remote will raise the plow to full lift height without holding the up button.

That’s encouraging, thanks! I’ve been thinking about various add-ons including that protective screen. Will probably let the steam evaporate from my credit card before I do though. 😜 Was the screen a Kubota product or third party maker?
Back in 2009 it was $179 through Kubota. I was shocked when I went to Messicks and they are now in the 300 dollar price range. I think a headache rack that would go up and down with the dump bed would be better. Twice now I have went to dump bed and a log got in between dump bed and screen and bent it, then requires removal to add heat and bang back into shape.

Thanks! Did not know about the adjustments. Will need to look into that since it drops like a rock when you double tap down. Just need some colder temps and snow. The gravel driveway is pretty soft still.
