LED lights are "noisy". I'm not sure if it's a quality thing or not. My Gator has some factory LED lights and no noise. But all of the LEDs in my shop mess with the FM signal and that includes a drop light.

Thanks. Good to know. I plan on doing it myself so I’ll see if there some tips out there to avoid those issues.
I was given a couple of Led lights, and did it myself ( front facing on roof using the two outside blanks already there) took blanks off and like I thought, the wiring was already there. Inside cab , i removed the 6 inch where wiper switch is and traced which wires belong to the two outside roof blanks I had removed using multi meter. I went to dealer and bought the appropriate toggle switch ($24 ?) It is a lighted toggle and the connector in the headliner blank fit right on. I did have to modify the connectors under the roof blanks because they did not match my industrial LED lights , but that was easy crimpon change. Used Drilled small hole thru rubber blank to run wires and silicone and used existing studs to bolt light frame down. 15 amp fuse was already in fuse block under the seat, so no messing there. I haven't considered need for rear facing lights yet, but wiring is in the roof already for that too. ( so are the radio wires and speakers)

Excellent! Thanks. Your description is what I was hoping for. Seems doable. Happy new year!

Just back for the dealer and signed papers for an RTV1100C. I ordered it 6 months ago(!). The Boss v-plow is also in and both need to be prepped and set up before they’ll deliver by the end of the year. I’m very psyched.

While there, I took a photo of the tires so I can order a set of chains for the rears (I live on a hill and ice will defeat any tire without chains). I noticed an image of a handgun on the sidewall and wonder what it means. Anyone know?
Nice!
We just got our RTV520 a few weeks ago. It also took about six months, and now we're waiting for a plow too.
I was attracted to Kubota UTVs because I have one of their three-cylinder liquid-cooled diesels in my Walker lawnmower. It's a great little engine. But a machine the size of yours is overkill for what I want to do (mostly running around with a sprayer or string trimmer), and too wide to go across a couple of bridges that I built over the creek, so I settled for the little gas-burner.
The engine oil was pretty severely overfilled when we got it, so I suctioned some out through the dipstick pipe. There must be a very sharp bur on the lower end of the pipe, because when I pulled the plastic suction tube out, it got sliced off. Now I have a piece of semi-rigid plastic tubing of unknown length sitting in the oil pan somewhere. Both the salesman and service manager say no big deal: there is a baffle above the oil that the dipstick tube goes through, so it will never get to any moving parts. But it still worries me. The oil pan can't be removed without pulling the engine out. Should I just try to forget about it? It's running fine. I'm hoping to get lucky the first time I change the oil and be able to grab it through the drain plug hole, but that seems like a long shot.

RolandW...just a thought. Do you have that KTAC insurance? I have no experience with it but have read many times it's covers just about anything?
Maybe that will cover the cost of having it removed? After all, it was an accident caused by poor dealer prep.

Thanks, but I don't think so. I just put it on our farm policy. The dealer said overfilling doesn't hurt, but I don't like it. All the tractor dealers around here seem to have a "more is better" attitude when it comes to filling crankcases.

We have been using ours everyday since 2009 and never has missed a beat with 1600 hours. Also if you throw wood in the back I would suggest the protective screen. I change the oil once a year and all other filters every 2 years. At 10 years I drained the hydraulic fluid and it was very clean. Just had the valves adjusted and only one was out of spec.

That’s encouraging, thanks! I’ve been thinking about various add-ons including that protective screen. Will probably let the steam evaporate from my credit card before I do though. 😜 Was the screen a Kubota product or third party maker?

I built a rack for my old 900. Has a headache rack to help protect the seating area.
