Well, after months of research and driving around to look at different machines, We finally made a purchase. Thanks to everyone here that helped through posts and PM's.
We found a one owner, low hour GT-25 that was used on a 5,000 acre farm. We picked up this machine for the less than we could have purchased a new CTL and head.
When we went down to Gyro Trac in SC to check them out, the President was there. He as quick to offer a new GT-25 for us to try out on there property. Not wanting to take out any big trees, I was mowing small brush and trees. He pointed out a 15" tree for me, so I had at it. I normally operate a T-320, so needless to say I was quite surprised with how fast it made tooth picks out of the tree. After punching through the tree about 3 ft up, I dropped the head almost full speed with very little drop in RPM's. Then mulched the rest of the tree just as fast. I would compare mulching this 15" tree to mulching a 3" tree with the T320.
One thing I find lacking in the gyro trac is the turning ability. You can't just spin around. You need to make a 3 point turn. This is a little aggravating, but we will get used to it.
