I'm a sucker for a bargain so when I found one of those hitch haul baskets at Wally World for 20 bucks, I jumped on it. I had no idea what I would use it for but had to have it none the less. When I got it back to the barn, I expected to find it bent and spindled with parts missing. What I found was a busted up box with the contents intact and complete. Score!!

After stepping over it for several months, the light came on. My 15 year old TSC Fimco sprayer was begging for a new life and this looked like just the thing. Whenever I needed the sprayer, it was a major ordeal to strap it in the bed of the Rhino, attach the sprayer brackets, connect the power and dribble the hose thru the rollcage into the cab where it was accessible. This solved those problems.

I bought 3 new Tee Jet spray heads with check valves (a very nice feature), some new hose and a remote control unit to control the pump.

It is a work in progress. I plan to add a longer hose and a better hose storage system, maybe a small reel. It needs some skids to make setting it down more convenient plus they will help protect the spray nozzles. I have a retractable cord to install since having enough wire to permit full FEL motion became impractical. And, it will lend itself well to adding a folding boom if I ever decide I need to have more coverage than its current 60 inches.

I'm really happy with the way this turned out. The third nozzle gives more coverage, the original setup had 2. There's a visual advantage for dispensing the product by having the sprayer in front as opposed to having the tank behind you out of sight. The remote control is a must have and should come as standard equipment for all sprayers in this class. The flexibility the FEL gives you allows changing the jets and putting the spray heads always at the right height. My little 15 gallon sprayer has been elevated to a status of one of my favorite attachments... spraying is no longer a chore, it's fast to set up and a pleasure to use.

Nice. I redid a 20' 150 gallon boom sprayer last year. Got for free so I wound up with about $135 in it. Your absolutely about having the spayer out in front. Good luck with yours it should work well for you.
