Filter replacment question

I have a xr4046H. I have been watching the sticky on filters. I am at my 50hr mark.

I see crosses for NAPA & Wix but nothing for Fram Or other brands.

Is there a reason other brands are not used?

Wix oil filter here is $23 The Fram Cross is $5!

Any help here would be great as I plan on doing my 50Hr changes in the morning.

Well, here's a thought ---- while I'm under warranty I plan to use LS filters. Once out of warranty, I'll most likely use either Wix or Napa. Those are the two brands that I've purchased for years. Even when out of warranty, I've gone back to dealers to buy the "name brand" hydraulic filters (not oil filters -- hyd filters) because I couldn't find an after market filter that met the OEM filter spec. The only choice was to go back to the dealer or install a hydraulic filter that didn't filter as well as the OEM spec --- I won't do that.

Fram has never been on my list ----------

My dealer shipped me a box with all the needed LS brand filters for the same cost as what I could find at NAPA. After listening to the napa counter guy say "what kind of tractor do your have? Never heard of that" about a dozen times.
