2023 Kioti RX7320pccb
I am doint my 50hr service on my Kioti RX7320 and it says to just replace the filter not the oil. I will need about a gallon to top off but I dont know what brand or type of hydraulic iol that was put in originally.
Does it matter it a different oil is used? Any thoughts?
Thanks, Joe

I speculate you are performing the initial 50 hour service and as such, it probably has Kioti hydraulic fluid in it.

If I were you, I would look at the owner's manual and buy a gallon of Kioti brand hydraulic fluid.

Might be best if there is ever a warranty claim.

I’m not a big fan of using oem fluids because I figure they are overpriced but when it comes to hydraulic fluid I use oem.

I have a CK3510 and my dealer recommended I just run down to the Tractor Supply (or Tractor Surprise as I like to call it) and get a jug of their Travelers brand.

My Kioti dealer was also a NAPA dealer. He recommended NAPA green label premium hydraulic fluid (NOT THE BLUE LABEL). That's what I've used for for the last eight years, with no issues. My Kioti owner's manual recommends Mobile 424, Shell, or UTH55.

Mobil 424 in my Kioti SXS and in the tractor. Look at the specs in your manual and purchase a fluid that matches. It doesn't have to be OEM to be appropriate. You may need to upside to at least a 2.5gal size. You'll use it again anyway to top off st some point. Might as well keep a little on the shelf.

Not sure if the Kioti's use a vent similar to my Kubota ...

The vent on mine is part of the fill cap right next to the dipstick, if you plug that supposedly you won't loose as much fluid when changing the filter ...

I've also read that you could hook a shop vacuum to the fill opening and that keeps the fluid inside ...
