Filter cross reference

I just had my first service on my DK4710SE and it was over $500. The hydro filter alone was $136. I guess I will do the next one myself. Anyone have cross reference #s??.

I don't know if the DK10 series uses the same filters as other Kioti's, but in the case of my DK40, I used the Donaldson P573481 filter without issues.

I was able to source it from the local Wajax branch and they had the part on the shelf.

I have seen some filter comparisons on Youtube with them cut apart. Some even name brand filters are junk. And what is the level of filtration? Not sure what using a filter without issues means. That it screws on and fits in the allocated space?

I only go with OEM filters anymore.

Most if not all of the videos I have seen were about oil filters. I am sure that there are bad filters out there, but I think Wix and Baldwin make OEM filters. I am pretty sure they should be fine.

Getting ready to take my 2012 Kioti DK40 into Michigan Iron & equipment for its 400 hr. service.The price is around $540 mark for the full service.IMHO if I can afford to pay $30,000 for a tractor $540 every 400 hours is not that horrible.
