Is there a depository for files on TBN?

For example, someone wrote an Excel spreadsheet for calculating ballasts. Assuming they were willing to share it, it would be great for it to be available in a files section.

You can attach files to any post in any thread. Excel files are not allowed (probbaly for security reasons), but you could put an excel file in a zip file and upload that.

It took a while for me to work out that one had to use the "Go Advanced" option to get the tab that allows one to attach a file.

However, that wasn't the question I was asking. I was asking if there is a facility to upload files to a dedicated 'area' where they can be stored. For example, I have done a bit of research and created an extensive table of grease compatibilities or of the RGB and Pantone numbers for various tractor colour paints. You want that information. At the moment, it seems that you have to do extensive searching, maybe having to read through dozens of threads, to find your table. If it was in a dedicated 'files section' to which I had uploaded it, you could find it a lot more easily.
