Hello, new member here.... I just bought a Bush Hog FH188 Flair Mower, and I need to replace several of the cutter blades on it. This is my first flail mower and the cutting blades look the letter "Y". Can anyone please tell me where I can buy new ones for this mower? I looked online, but have yet to find any blades for this mower. Thank you, Greg

I now know what blades I need and have several choices. Thanks you for all the help, it was a lifeline. I also got an owner's manual for it off eBay which has been helpful as well. I know need to hook it to the tractor and lift it up to see how many blades, hangers, bolts and cotter pins I need to order.

The FH series flail mowers are based on the latest version of the Ford 917 flail.

Any bladed or knife that works on the 917 will work on it too and even the knives for the JD 25a.

I have used both y knives and the duck foot knives and they both work great.

Right now I have some forged y knives that are really thick and the are durable.

My 917 is 74” wide but I wish it was 88”.
