Hey guys looking to see what y'all think is best or your ideas on what y'all spray to keep your fence line cleared and from regrowing

We use 2-4-D to keep the weeds down so we can get a nice stand of Bromegrass. After it gets about knee high the weeds don't stand much of a chance. For the really stubborn woody noxious plants we use "Pasture Pro" from a nearby Orscheln farm store. It is also a 2-4-D but much stronger. If mixed properly, it will actually kill a tree up to 6" in diameter by just spraying 2 feet of the trunk.

Is there any salt in Pasture Pro that could lead to rusting of the fence? I'm also looking for something other then roundup because I'm afraid of the salt in roundup.

We spray ground clear (long lasting roundup) on the fence line in areas no close to trees because it can kill the trees. In areas near the trees, we use regular round up and spray more often.
