Yep, once something hits the go pedal linkage under there, there is no stopping forward movement. You can't push hard enough on the reverse part of the pedal. Turning off the key is all you can do.The same way I learned it's not a good idea to drive up to the mower deck when reattaching when the pto shaft guard is broken and snags the go pedal linkage and propels you into your table saw and slide it half way across the garage floor before hitting the stop button! This was a reply to you adding the guard to the go pedal.

1-30-2005 Added a guard to prevent full speed forward, when it touches a tree trunk at the edge of the burn pile. Guess how I know it would do that! :laughing:
