Front-End Loader FEL Overhaul

I'm going to look at a Kubota L3130 with a front end loader attached for possible purchase. I am unfamiliar with FEL and hydrolics etc. The ad says it has 2700 hrs and the FEL was recently overhauled. The machine looks well cared for in the pics. Is this normal wear and tear for that many hours and what does an overhaul consist of? Any other info or suggestions before I purchase is welcomed.

On the FEL a total overhaul would include rebuilding the control valve and all the cylinders and possibly the hoses.
2700 hrs. is not much.

If it were me... look to see if the tractor was repainted, if it was... walk away (they are hiding how it was used). :2cents: post photos of the tractor...

Overhauled means different things to different folks.
Some it is merely a paint job.
Depending on age and usage the seller may have replaced a few ratty hoses and a bushing or pin or two figuring the rest is good to go.
O H is a nice sounding cliche.

If you are real serious pay a local equipment mechanic an hour or 2 to make an independent evaluation. That could be the best $$ you ever invested in.
Cheap insurance.

A restored FEL too me would mean that the cyl and valve meet the original specs for pressure and lift ability.

If you know what the QD's are, you can take a hyd gauge with you and check the pressure.
