FEL lock seems broken

The sliding tab that "locks" the FEL in place appears to be broken. There is a little sliding movement but it no longer stops it from moving. I have tried wiggling the joystick around while trying to engage it. How hard is this to fix? Anyone seen/done this? I sure miss my lock as I often put it on as my leg tends to bump it off and on wheil I am driving it.

Those are fairly thin metal, get easily bent if lock in place and too much pressure applied to the joystick. Take the boot off and you see a phillips screw to take out then slide the lock out, put it on flat surface and pound it back flat with a hammer. Have straightened a few with no problem.
