Hi

The FEL on my B2150 has gradually got slower and slower. All the other operations are fine it's just the lift. The only way I can get it to lift at the correct speed is to stand up and put all my weight on the lever. I assume that there is a problem with the valve, is it something I can do myself or will I have to take it to a specialist?

I had same problem with my hoe. curl only was slow.
the nut came off the bolt that ataches the lever to the conrol valve for the curl. And bolt was halfway out. It took 10mins to put bolt in and nut back on. So i'd take cover off for valve access and see if same thing happened on you're FEl valve.

Hi Bob

Thanks for the reply. I can see the lever and the piston which goes into the valve and there are no loose nuts. I'm pretty sure the problem is inside the valve, although I'm only guessing. If I put normal pressure on the lever it will go up really slow and as I apply more pressure it gets quicker. When I put all my weight on the lever then it operates at the correct speed.

Someone suggested that it could be the spool valve seals. Is this a possiblity and would I be able to replace them myself?

Thanks in advance. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yes, you shouldn't have any problem replacing the seals.
