Have a Bobcat 230 with the 7 something loader. Is it normal that if I raise the loader to the top with the bucket empty for the arms to lower about a foot in ten minutes of operation? Seems annoying but is this normal. Only have 100 hrs on tractor. Dont want to bug dealer if its ok. Thanks Mike

If they designed a 99% good hyd system, a cyl would lock with valves in neutral, and stay up for days weeks, or even months.

If a cyl or cylinders set leak down, it is probably the seals, and maybe the valve.

Both can be checked for leakage. I am sure the dealer has a leak down rate that is a go or no go situation.

The leak down for you might be different, and is what you can accept.

If he claims different, check out some of his other equipment.

If it's still under warranty I would be calling the dealer.

Yes I guess I should at least give him a call. Its just inconvenient to have it transported if it is normal.
