Loader FEL Knob Removal

New member and new tractor owner as of today! I just bought a MF 1635 TLB, Gattor Grapple, and WR Long 3rd function electric hyd valve. I am preparing to install the valve kit. Question is how does the FEL knob remove? It doesn't seem to want to unscrew, so I'm wandering if its pressed on to the stick. I have looked at the parts diagram and it just shows the stick and knob. Help please. Thanks in advance.

Just glued on very well! Vice grips wraped in a glove and some twisting got it off with no damage to the original handle.
