If I curl my bucket and lower it at the same time on my 1533 I hear a slight hiss and then a popping/crackling sound. Nothing bent or broken, and I can't find a leak. It's all still new, less than 5 hrs, so might I have a loose fitting or a small leak. Hydraulic oil where it was when delivered. Sounds like it's coming from right side of FEL. This is my first FEL, so I don't really know what should sound right.

The slight hiss isn't anything to worry about. It is air coming out of the small filter under the seat. When the rams retract fluid flows into the sump. That displaces air which goes out the vent filter.
I would try to find out what the popping is. It shouldn't be doing that.

Thanks, Jerry. I just noticed the popping. It's not loud and it is definitely a different sound than the hissing. I'll get it checked out.
