Kubota 2710 purchased used with 179 hours
My 2710 FEL's main frame (the part that stays on the tractor, model LA402) seems to interfere with using Kubota's suitcase weights on the front. Am I missing something here? Or is the weight of the main FEL frame (without the bucket) enough to negate the need for any extra front-end weight for implements like a rear mount mower (in the raised position) or a box-blade?
Thanks.

I built front end weights using square tubing and lead. With this arrangement I leave the weights on with the FEL on or off. If you would like I will post pics.

I saw your one picture in "Brush Guard that works". Really nice work!! I don't have your welding skills yet, so I was hoping to use the suitcase weights. I took them home "on approval", and then discovered that they don't go on with the FEL frame there. Chim said his frame adds enough weight to balance his mower. I just wish I knew how much weight it adds at the front, so I could feel a little more comfortable about it.
