FEL forks I made

Here are a set of forks I made for the FEL. They are a little different then the other ones I have seen. I have also stalled them with wieght and no break or bend so far! I mostly made them from scrap I had laying around.

Those look nice. I wish I had a quick attach bucket. I made some clap on ones for my loader also.

Looks good. I need to make forks for my tractor too. Could be a winter project. That darn steel is very pricey. I would make all kinds of stuff if steel prices was cheaper.

Barnboy I agree with steel prices. I almost call them outrages. I went to the scrap yard and they told me they didn't have any steel worth building anything out of. I am going to try another one cause i think those people are nutz.

Ya, I made the quick connects also, the pre made ones were $150.00, now that's outrages! I was lucky, I had most of the steel laying around.

Nice job - but we need close-up photos of the quik attach , all the details

The quick attach is nothing fancy, just a hook and a hole, I didn't really have the right size material so I doubled up some 1/2 plate for the hooks and single plate for the hole. I also was not able to make it as one piece, again do to what I had laying around. If I was to do it again, I would make it out of 3/4 plate and make it all one piece, then just weld the plate to the impliment. I will see if I can get some pics of it. I am at work right now, I will try tomorrow.
