Our farm is currently running two 24 row john deere planters and two John Deere 9870 combines. We run the 2600 monitors in both outfits. Everything works great and it does what it says it will do but there are problems when you put them on apex farm software. Since the monitors don't communicate in the field you end up having two maps with half of each field on them which makes mapping difficult. If the monitor could communicate while in the same field, both contributing to one map, it would make the process of field mapping a lot easier. I think that should be the next step that John Deere should take towed having a solid mapping system.

Give the green star expert at your dealer a call. If he can't figure it out have him call somebody who can give you a definite answer. I believe there is a way to "merge maps" once they are on the computer.
