When I run into an issue I cannot quite fix, I tell my wife it's "time to ask my tractor buddies" with absolute confidence that several of you will have the answers. How absolutely great is it to have access to thousands of guys - with decades of aggregate experience in just about everything I will ever need.

And you all are not only available to jump in and help anyone with a problem, you are actually eager to do so. I think this is because we are, at the core, problem solvers and get immense satisfaction from finding solutions. It almost makes me want to have more problems I can seek help with. Thanks guys.

You're welcome, Mate.

You are also not alone in your feelings... well except for wanting more tractor problems...

That's just wrong. :)

This is a great place with fantastic and knowledgeable people. I share your appreciation for everyone here. I wish I could buy everyone their next beverage of choice.

As a newbie to the world of tractors and rural living this place has been invaluable. Youtube videos can only go so far.

Agree completely, the knowledgeable members here have helped in my decision making on the proper tractors, accessories and implements.

 Couldn't agree more - except I don't want any new problems :)

I like when somebody asks a question about something, and I know the answer because I learned it the hard way. Feels good to pass on some hard earned knowledge and hopefully save the next guy some trouble. That said, no doubt I have benefitted 1000X more from this site than I contribute. The real-world practical knowledge and experience makes it a great place to learn. Which is good, since the older I get the less I learn from traditional sources. I appreciate learning from experienced "regular" folks who have been through it all.

+1 on that! Someone mentioned Youtube videos, which I generally avoid. Maybe I'm old school, but to me an explanation (and maybe a photo or two) goes a lot further than some cellphone video where the person holding it has the shakes and in the narrative every third word is "uh".

You hit the nail on the head.

I agree, good bunch of folks here... I've learned a lot over the years. Thanks to all...

I agree about the crappy YouTube videos, but have to admit I've benefited greatly from some good ones, and seeing things in motion with verbal explanation helps in some cases. You gotta sort thru the junk to get the good stuff, just like some threads here... we all know that's true, things get WAY off track at times.

I do enjoy the interactions with all of you, and the friendly banter at times... the willingness to help and offer ideas and support and feedback is awesome.
