Last week we had a "snow event" out here in the desert. We got 15" - 18" of snow which is quite uncommon. I live about a 1/4 mile down a private dirt road that has a moderate slope up to the highway. I plowed snow from my 700' drive for the first time ever with my 7800 (new learning experience) and then tackled the road to the highway.

When I finished it, I looked down the road to the little house that 2 old people live in and decided to plow that section also. The ambulance has been to the house twice in the last month. Finished up well after dark and in 20 degree temperatures.

A couple of days later the daughter stops by the house with an ample supply of home baked cookies, cakes, fudge and jelly. It turns out that her mother is on dialysis twice a week and she would not have been able to get her out had I not plowed the road.

Yeah - feel good day!
