I haven't seen it since I live in PA. I guess we could go ahead and end the thread. I told him that it could be grey market and that he should keep looking. He is getting it for $3500 and is already made up his mind. He doesn't understand pay me now / pay me later.
I have enough problems getting new tractors that are sound. (not making sounds, different thing altogether.)
Thanks guys. I'll let you know what happens. My guess is he'll be on this board asking where to get the parts he will need but can't get. Give em hell if he does!! ;^)

Its simple
Check all oils and water. They should be where they should be and not where they shouldn't be.
If motor turns over and won't start check / bleed fuel lines.
If it don't go walk away.

He bought it. It didn't need much. They got it running. It had ~800 hrs on it total and he paid $3500. He waxed it up and is very happy.
