Well, I could not get my engine running right, so I had to pull it.
You can see the governor in this photo. Turns out, the person who tried and failed to get this engine running did a few things wrong. He installed the steel cam gear kit, but somehow managed to install an oil pump RV spring that was too short. No oil pressure. It looks like there is an oil pressure kill switch, which did not allow any spark.
I seem to have the FD620D-GS11 engine, which also seems to have a 2-piece governor lever with left hand threaded bolt holding it together.

The correct spring is P/N M138429 $0.90
Later models had the two pc lever I could not tell the bolt was left hand from JD parts

The water pump internal seal could be the cause of the leak, and a new pump includes a new seal, of course. My seal looked OK, so I did not replace it. My oil had a bit of water in it, as well. I do not know how much of a leak is tolerable.

No leak is tolerable. Are you losing coolant?
It could be condensation, not a leak. Especially if it is not run long enough to "burn" the condensation off/out. Then water will build up over time.

It’s been through a recent oil change , and new head gasket , after a few minutes of driving the oil is completely white , but I haven’t looked to see if I’m getting oil in the radiator or a loss of coolant , it was shut down only after after the light came on and the fan kicked on ... that’s what prompted the oil check , it was “running “ fine , and sounded good .
I wasn’t the one driving at the the time and don’t know of it had any air in the system

It sounds like coolant is getting into the oil.
I would think if it's the head gasket, you would be losing coolant, but it would be forced out the exhaust.
I am thinking water pump seal or gasket.
Yes , that’s what I’m thinking as well , it’s kinda far down on the list of things to get done , but I’ll at least drain the fluids And get it ready to pull out, thanks again for the responses , it’s is greatly appreciated

the new water pump fixed the leak . The new pump was installed and ran for a little bit , drained the oil , changed the filter and ran again for a about 20 min . And the oil looks good , will be changing the oil and filter again after another test run around the property. So far so good . A big thanks to all of you for your help and advice . It still has a 4wd noise that I need to look into .
