Massey Ferguson 1GC25
Hey guys first post. I just bought a new 1gc25 TLB last week. Bought the FBX 1574 snow plow. And frame with power angle. Dealer gave it to me in crates. I got done installing everything. It all seems to work. But one weird thing. When I go to angle the blade to the right. It goes right, but as soon as I push the joystick far right, it goes left.
If I switch the lines around. When I angle right (going left on joystick) it doesn't do it. If I angle left (going right on joystick) it doesn't do it.
Before I call the dealer firgure I will make a post. Thanks.

Congratulations on the new tractor!

That seems strange to me, I don't have a good answer...

does that hook to your fel hydraulic fittings? I've seen fel act weird like that when curl line, lever to left (iirc yellow), was not fully engaged. looked to be locked in but plunger was not fully pressed.
far right initiates fast dump so is different than normal right or left on lever.

edit:corrected and clarified

Might just be cuz its fast dump. Ive read all the manuals for loader and plow. Its not meantion. Thanks for your help. Starting to think its probably normal.

not sure thats normal really, fast dump is just more flow same side of bucket pistons. if anything it should only, I would think, make it angle faster.
but if line restricted it can do odd movements. I'd verify fittings are clean and connected fully then ask dealer if normal.
I assume your loader itself worked fine right?

Yea loader worked fine. I will mess with it again tomorrow after work. I did hook and unhook the lines multiple times. Same response. Guess I will just give the dealer a call too. Won't hurt.

Pushing joystick to far right is potentially regen dump or fast dump. Regen works by connecting pressure to both ends of the cylinder so that oil returning from rod end goes into blind end. This feature will only extend a cylinder so that could explain why it only moved the one direction. Which way is cylinder moving to angle to the right?

This makes sense. So i might have to flip the cylinder around.

Cylinder would be going in. When going right.

No need to try and remount the cylinder, Just don’t push joystick past detent for regen and you won’t have a problem with how it angles.

not sure about this brand new gc model but prior models did not have detent.
visual on bucket speed is only indicator.
attached is flow diagram for gc2400, should be similar.

When I go to angle the blade to the right. It goes right, but as soon as I push the joystick far right, it goes left.

I do not think this should be happening. is this using 1 single cylinder with 2 hoses for angle? could not tell for sure.

when hooked normally did lift/lower and angle left work right?
only issue was with lever pressed hard to right correct?

I could be wrong but it does not seem right to me. there are a few on forum who have posted about this unit in past and I don't remember ever seeing that oddity mentioned.
but I could be wrong. but everything should still be under warranty so maybe better to correct oddity before becomes real issue. unless of course thats the expected way it works.
wonder if its just air in system.
