Favorite summer drink?

My very favorite summer drink is the one somebody else bought.

Water is my favorite thirst quencher when working. Crystal Light lemonade is pretty good too if it's mixed so it's not too sweet. Bourbon and soda is my favorite leisure drink for all seasons. A nice crisp gin and tonic with a twist is also a summer favorite.

I'm a bit of an oddball I guess because I think plain club soda is a great thirst quencher and I could drink straight tonic water until I hurt myself.

I'll second that and extend the observation to anything with the word light or lite in it.

Well,I've never!,,you guys just ain't real [real] beer drinkers[acloholics] like me,,you drink beer to get drunk,you don't drink beer to quench your thirst,coors light does this,but you can still open your eyes,by mid day,,,amatures!

milk shakes ain't a drink,its food or something,tea is a drink,coffee is another drink,,,like beer,yeah beer is drink,I generally drink about 10-12,coors light,than eat,than sleep[getting older].like raspberry ice tea too,mainly drink water,probably 2 qts a day at least.,water is of course the best drink. Now if you drink much of that hard stuff,[whiskey,gin,vodka,etc],it will kill you,so now you know.

Water can kill you too if you drink too much at one time.

I agree that in the strict sense light beer could barely be considered as beer, but at my rate of consumption if I was to stray from my MGD 64 I would have to buy my clothes at a specialty store (if you know what I mean:laughing

I haven't seen Gatorade mentioned yet...not that I drink it, just thought it was supposed to be a thirst quencher.

while working i'm a water man but after the work is done a nice cold beer can be found in my hand.

went to NJ a couple of years ago and went to an ethnic part of town and my wife ordered sangria, now that is a refreshing drink to have while BBQ, or sitting by the pool. She now makes it a coupe times during the summer.
