I would holler up to the kids on Saturday morning "OK guys! Time to roll out! Daylight in the swamp! If that didnt work Id use my auction PA and say it again. Id tell them we had alotta work to do and when theyd ask "like what?" Id rattle off a dozen things in rapid fire being sure to throw in a few like "rake the driveway and oil the buggy harness". We had 6 kids and they needed something to keep them occupied.

One of the neighbors used to say, "that guy over there, he likes to buy old crates and fix them up". This would come from someone born in 1900, who witnessed true old crates like broken down buggies, then not much better model T's, then "old flibbers with fins". Any car eventually became just another old crate.

This is one of my life motto's. I can't even think of how many times I've said it to myself, or to others. I just know when I use it when making a decision, I'm always happy with the results!!!!
