That is a repost. That is from last year. As far as I know Montana wants nothing to do with the FarmTrac brand.

Your incorrect sir. This article is from today. Talks are back on with Montana and Farmtrac. We are a Farmtrac dealer and received the press release referred to in the article on March 6 faxed directly from Textron. We have also found out that the warranty/service/parts argreement that Montana is trying to make with Farmtrac is a long way from being finalized. The article is very accurate when it says that Farmtrac headquarters has only contacted dealers twice since this mess started and that was by fax only. They are not returning any phone calls whatsoever.

All I know is what I was told from. The person claiming to be the boss of all. So, This does not effect my tractor in any way. It is not a LS model. All I am saying is that they are referring back to a release in 2006 nothing else. The complete story is new. I am talking about the content of the post. That is all I was referring too. Sorry if It was taken wrong.

Don't take me wrong, I love the blue tractor. It is a good product. But not so good product support. I have a list long as my arm of good folks at Farm Trac. The problem now is that the new management. Is not talking to one another. The wright hand does not know what the left is doing. There is some one in the Loop that is greedy and is trying to get all they can. I just want them to do the wright thing. If I could rebuild the motor I would, If I could fix it with out ever calling them again I would, but there is know way other then taking it to a machine shop and building it like a spec motor. If that is what I have to do. I will. I want to work with them, I have offered to pay for shipping. I have offered to pay for the labor. So why cant they let me have a motor? That is all I want.

Hey. It was not taken wrong at all. There are so many emotions running and you have every right to be ticked off. I know that alot of posts have been made by dealers like myself and we are all trying to keep each other informed by what we learn because we are not learning it from Farmtrac/Textron. It is amazing that the 300+ dealers all across the nation of ours, are in the same boat of the "unknown". We just try to pass on anything new we learn so that we are informed and current on what info is out there. Hopefully soon, resolution will come for us all.

I sure hope so SESS, I just had to purchase another new tractor to take the place of this one. I told MR. Marrow today with out that motor, the tractor will wind up in a junk yard. That is a shame. It will become nothing more then a tax wright off. This is not wright, we live in the USA. We should not do business like this. I have met so many wonderful dealers and Farm Trac folks, but when you go way up on the tree the limbs start to break. You know what I mean? The dealer that we had here he has went out, over this. ALL I can say is where is Warren Buffett when you need him. Now this would be a good buy for him. He could make it all happen for everyone. :)

Rascoil,
Instead of taking the tractor to the junk yard why not see about an engine from that junk yard?? I am not sure what mgt you are talking to at FT because there are none. From my understanding there is only on person that has any responsibility at all working there and he is court appointed. (There are a few volunteers in parts I guess) I'm sure if you really want to fix the engine there is parts in a junk yard you could use to put it back together. As others have stated there is no money in Farmtrac to get so I don't see how you would get anything in the suit?

When they file bankruptcy If I get .10 or it be.60 on the dollar it is better then nothing. I will find a motor weather it be an after market one or I have it built into a spec motor. As for mgt Mr. Gurkin is running the shop at the main office in NC. He is getting paid well. I feel in more ways then one.

First they are not out of business. I am still talking to the same old Farm Trac Employees that I was when this started. They are just running with what money they can. The longer you wait the less there will be left. 2 of these dirt balls have already left the country. We will see. The Texas Attorney General and My Attorney seem to think other wise. I am also going to hold my dealer liable also. If you want stand behind what you sell, then you shouldn't sell it. I am just glad I am not a Dealer. I feel for them. Any company that lets some reps work for several days and then dont even tell them they are not getting paid. They will get what they need. I have no more to ad on the subject of Farm Trac.

I know your upset, but you say you feel for the dealers, but if you include your dealer in this suit I can tell you who will end up fixing your tractor and it won't be Textron or Farmtrac. That is unless he files for bankruptcy from the legal bills. Lawyers will promise you the world to get you to file suit, but don't expect too much from the ones that should pay.
