This tractor is an India-manufactured copy of the 70's Ford/Long 3-cylinder diesel. Front-end loader and 3-point run off a pump in the differential housing, using trans-differential fluid. Power steering uses the same fluid, but routes it through a pump driven by the fanbelt. Power steering works fine.
After some shuddering and hesitation, all hyd. power has disappeared. I topped off the fluid and replaced the external hyd. filter, but now there is no pressure at all, 3-point or front-end loader. The manual says nothing about any externally accessible overload/bypass valve or internal filter screen which might be clogged. Can any of you Ford guys give me a clue? Thanks in advance!
