Farmtrac 300DTC Broken F-R Lever

Yesterday while changing from forward to reverse the lever arm broke off just inside the gearbox. Does anyone know where I could buy a replacement? The part no per the manual is LG2191 or A1290101. Thank you in adavance.

Do you have a local LS dealer? Your tractor was built by LG that later became LS Mtron, so they should be able to help.

Secondly, if you don't have a local LS dealer there is a chance a New Holland dealer could be willing to work with you to see if there is a matching part, as New Holland compact tractors are built by LS.

I did find a local LS dealer and have the parts ordered. Hopefully it won't be to difficult to replace!

I have a Montana 3040. Same tractor made by LS for Montana. A couple years ago I broke the same shaft in the same place. Ordered the part and started reading the service manual. When rebuilding the transmission the first part into the empty case is this shaft and the lever it is connected too. Which I read as splitting the tractor and moving the gears. Plan B was cut the shaft and put a splice on it with pins. The shift leaver is now a couple inches lower, but it works. That was 2 years ago and it is still working and the new shaft is sitting on a shelf in my shop. If you find a way to replace the shaft with out splitting the tractor please let me know how.
