I have a problem. I got my 2425 stuck clearing trails. I put in in 4WD creeper no go. I locked the differential and got out O.K.

Now when the left front tire is straight, the right front tire is turning to the right.

I know you are not supposed to try to turn with the differential locked. I don't THINK I did. The tie rod looks fine. Before I go trying to adjust out the problem with the tie rod I thought I would ask first.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All the info the forum has provided so far has been great!! You people are the best.

Thanks in advance.

That's something I would ordinarily attribute to a badly bent tie rod. But since you indicate that's not the problem, check to see if the steering cylinder came loose

Is the tie rod behind the front axle still straight? If you got this hung up on a rock or stump and bent it, it would cause the wheels to "Toe-out" as you described.

You most likley, bent the tie rod, these are pretty easy to bend, you should be able to straighten it out if not we have the replacements

Feel kind of silly. Is the tie rod supposed to be bent? It looked like it was bent to go around the front differential.

Thanks for your replies.

Nope. Should be straight as an arrow.

Thanks Gentlemen. I have some wrenching and straightening to do, or I guess I will be giving Tommy a call for a new tie rod.

Great Forum! Wish I'd found it sooner.

I pretzled mine a few times, ended up getting a spare. One to use on the tractor, the other to straighten (again) in the vice.

Word of caution though. Make sure the threaded ends are never compressed in the vice, or you'll never get the tie rod back on the tractor.
