Always wanted one of those old Shibaura built Boomers or Farmall's and almost bought one today.
Found a 2008 cab model with loader and rear snowblower, hydro, rear remotes and only 945 hours.
Dealer said it was never used commercial and was a homeowners. But all the back end around the 3 point hitch, the cab steps, the front axle (even around the oil check/fill) was pure orange rust. So it was obviously in a lot of salt. My 52 and 55 Allis's aren't even rusty, LOL
Sure you can say surface rust doesn't matter, but when they are asking almost as much as new and the tires were pretty wore, as much as I DESPISE emission motors, think I'll take a pass on this one.
I found a couple that are coming up in an auction that are pretty much brand new and were put away, but I think the bids are going to skyrocket in the final moments. Plus they are the CVT models, which I am nervous about.
