Nice job ! A Rust-Oleum overhaul ! More than doubled the value !

That is the paint but not exactly the color. The color I used was sunrise red. It took around three quarts mixed with the mineral spirits.

A few years ago my 1996

dodge 2500 got some rusty body work and a water based rust oleum Paint job. Sprayer and rattle can.I first covered it with rust reducer and then non gloss paint. Passable but just barely.

I have a 2007 F250 with a bit of rust and you have inspired me to do something. A buddy has offered to install new cab corners and patch up the other rusted through areas.

I do not need it to look like factory or even "good" at 10 yards away. It is a work truck so good enough is good enough.

Yeah and that's what I was going for. I use this truck for hauling firewood and hay and whatever needs to be hauled. One thing I like about this option is that if I get a bad scratch or whatever color matching will be easy to fix.
