Farm trac 2420

I just bought a farm trac 2420 Cummins turbo tractor,the guy I got it from says it idled wide open and he couldn't get it to shut off with the fuel switch on the injector pump so he cut the fuel line on it ,that was a yr ago ,I just got it home ,and put all new fuel lines on cleaned the fuel tank ,blowed out all fuel lines going in and out of the injector pump,put fresh fuel in it ,loosened the injector and pumped up till I got no air ,put still it won't start ,please some pointers ,and what y'all think happened for that thing to run away like that

I’m not familiar with the 2420.. but I am familiar with the FarmTrac injection pumps.
What happens in 99.9% of them is: the control rack gets RUSTED in the WOT position due to: LACK OF OIL.
NOBODY knows to put oil in them.!!
If it’s stuck at wot, it’s to late to add oil..
u can remove the side cover and have a look.. I can almost guarantee that it looks like “baby poop” in there.
If u can post a pic of the injection pump here or if it’s easier, to my home email, I’d b happy to try and help u get this under control..
