farm pro 2430 (2005) starter switch

Hello to all,

I have been reading this forum for a couple years, and now I finally have a question. Can anyone tell me where I can get a starter switch for my farmpro 2430 2005/2006 vintage tractor?

:welcome: I'm assuming you mean the key switch? There is a Ford switch that works, but there is a better switch made by Cole-Hersee, available at NAPA and other parts stores.

Yeah, the Chinese switches are crap. If your tractor is exposed to the elements when parked, the Cole-Hersee is an excellent but expensive switch. If you park it indoors, a Ford-type cold start switch can be had for less than $20. I've since found that a Lucas-type switch is a sturdier version of the Ford switch. Either will be cheaper than the Cole-Hersee
